Tests, Treatments, and Therapies at Outpatient Rehabilitation  

We offer a variety of therapies and tools to help you improve your functioning and return to daily activities. Our team of caring therapists uses a patient-centered approach to restore your function, health, and productivity.  We accomplish this through a variety of individualized therapies including:

• Managing your medical needs to ensure that you regain the skills you need for daily living
• Physical therapy to help you regain mobility and improve your functional abilities
• Occupational therapy to help you develop adaptations, strategies, and techniques for daily skills so you can remain as independent as possible
• Speech therapy to help you improve communication and address swallowing issues
• Hand therapy with certified hand therapists to help you regain hand function and learn adaptive strategies when recovering from trauma or injury
• Services to help you adjust to the use of braces or artificial limbs
• Lymphedema management for those recovering from cancer therapies
• Vestibular rehabilitation to help those with balance disorders
• Therapeutic massage
• Low vision program
• Driver rehabilitation program
• Support groups such as The Conversation Support Group for people with aphasia, a difficulty understanding and using language

We can see patients referred from a variety of referral sources such as your primary care physician, your surgeon, other specialists, or one of our physiatrists affiliated with the Alexian Rehabilitation Hospital. We will work with your referring physician to ensure that you receive the continuity of care you deserve in our outpatient program and help you during your transition back to your home environment.
