EmergiKidsSM at Alexian Pediatric Emergency Care
Children need special care when they're sick or injured. That's why Alexian offers a separate program of emergency care for children. Each year we treat over 16,000 children and adolescents in the community, which includes emergency care for infants. For situations that require an overnight stay, our nine-bed unit is specifically designed to meet the acute care needs of children. The pediatric treatment area has toys and coloring books and is decorated to resemble a comforting, home-like environment.
