Alexian Brothers Neurosciences Institute has attracted renowned professionals who specialize in neuropsychological disorders. Our expert neuropsychologists are trained at the nation’s top medical institutions and continue to instruct at or collaborate with leading area educational institutions.
Drs. Davis, Dorflinger, and Stepansky specialize in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children between the ages of 18 months and 18 years. They collaborate with school and other providers as necessary to ensure maximum educational and treatment success. They also work closely with family members to refer patients for appropriate services if required.
Amy Davis, Ph.D., ABPP
Dr. Davis is a licensed clinical psychologist and a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with fellowship training in pediatric neuropsychology. She earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology within the neuropsychology track from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (formerly Finch University of Health Sciences/ The Chicago Medical School). She completed an internship at Loyola University Medical Center and her fellowship training in pediatric neuropsychology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and she is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Jill Dorflinger, Ph.D., ABPP
Dr. Dorflinger is a licensed clinical psychologist and a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with fellowship training in pediatric neuropsychology. She earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology in the neuropsychology track from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, completed an internship in clinical neuropsychology at West Virginia University School of Medicine and a residency in pediatric neuropsychology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Mona Stepansky, Ph.D.
Dr. Mona Stepansky is a licensed clinical psychologist and a fellowship-trained pediatric neuropsychologist. She earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology within the pediatric track from Loyola University in Chicago. She completed her internship in neuropsychology at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York, and completed her fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Alexian Brothers Neurosciences Institute.
