Child Life seeks to help children and their families adjust to the hospital environment and reduce the accompanying stress that may be present as children prepare for surgery and/or receive treatment.
Concussion Clinic
Designed to provide timely and comprehensive evaluation for post-concussion to ensure appropriate medical management and support the decision to return to school, sports, work or other activities. One-day appointment includes evaluation by pediatric neurologist and neuropsychologist.
Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics
We offer a comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis for children with suspected developmental, behavioral or learning problems using a multi-disciplinary team approach.
EmergiKids
EmergiKids is a special emergency care department dedicated exclusively to the acute care needs of children with an appealing kid-friendly atmosphere.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
The neonatal intensive care unit at St. Alexius Medical Center is a state designated Level III facility that combines advanced technology and treatments with expert care for critically ill babies.
Pediatric Endocrinology
The Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic provides comprehensive, ongoing, multidisciplinary care to children with diabetes, obesity, growth and other nutrition and endocrine issues.

Pediatric Neurosurgery
Dr. Bryan Bertoglio's expertise in pediatric neurosurgical care along with extensive training in microsurgical, endoscopic, and stereotactic techniques provides advanced treatment for pediatric patients. The scope of his pediatric neurosurgery practice is from prenatal/premature to 18 years old.
